Youth Forum, November 8

The Montreal Millennium Summit has also been thinking about its succession! To this end, we’re organizing a Youth Forum as part of this year’s program. The Forum – an afternoon of presentations and dynamic artistic performances – will bring together 500 young people and a significant number of inspiring speakers. Items on the agenda include knowledge-sharing and recounting experiences relating to Millennium Development Goals, the status of the world’s most disadvantaged people and the means at our disposal for helping bring about positive change.

Objective
To come together to learn, to draw inspiration, to empower…and to take action!

Post-forum Activity
Young people attending the Forum will be invited, at the end of the day, to complete a brief write-up of their thoughts, and the best ones will be published on the Montreal Millennium Summit Website. This section of the site will be updated throughout the year, as a means of sharing the information and stories of young people who are committed to this cause. Visit our site often!
